LLCS uses two radio scanners to provide the most real-time updates to the public. A Uniden BCD996P2 Digital Scanner which monitors fire departments, and a Uniden BCT15X Analog Scanner which currently has no purpose, but was previously used before the switch to digital.
We listen like everyone else— on Broadcastify! Yeah, encryption/delay sucks. But hey, sometimes you just have to deal with it. 🙂

LLCS utilizes two DSLR cameras (a Cannon EOS 80D and Nikon D3400) to provide close up video and images of scenes. In addition, we use a KingJoy VT-1500 tripod to accommodate those cameras. Some video may be shot on an iPhone as well.
Lincoln-Lancaster County Scanner does not normally take requests for audio recordings. It can take up to 30 minutes to even locate one transmission and in the end is very time-consuming. Audio from major incidents, lasts calls, etc. will usually be posted, however.
